Municipal Court - FAQ

Want To Plea Guilty?
IF YOU WISH TO ENTER A PLEA OF GUILTY OR NOLO CONTENDERE, submit a written plea along with the fine amount. A plea of Nolo Contendere means that you do not contest the state's charge(s) against you. Make your remittance by Cashier's Check or Money Order (CASH OR PERSONAL CHECK NOT ACCEPTED) to the Municipal Court. Return your copy of the Citation with your remittance to assure proper credit.

Want To Plea Not Guilty?
IF YOU WISH TO ENTER A PLEA OF NOT GUILTY and desire a trial, you must appear in person to sign a request to see the Judge on or before the due date of your citation.
