City of Springtown accepting applications for its Planning and Zoning Commission
The City of Springtown is accepting applications for its Planning and Zoning Commission.
Commissioners are appointed to two-year terms by the City Council. The Commission consists of the chairperson, five commissioners and two alternates.
The Planning and Zoning Commission is responsible for holding public hearings on all zoning ordinance amendments and property zoning amendments, and for making recommendations to the City Council on each zoning case.
The Planning and Zoning Commission also reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding other cases such special use permits and site plans.
The Planning and Zoning Commission considers all final plats and approves or disapproves in accordance with state law.
To be eligible to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission, applicants must be residents of the City of Springtown.
