City Events
The City of Springtown hosts a variety of community events throughout the year that bring residents, businesses, civic organizations, and visitors together to celebrate our community, support local businesses, honor important traditions, and enhance quality of life.
From family-friendly festivals and seasonal celebrations to educational programs and community service events, there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.
Farmers Markets
The Springtown Farmers Market provides an opportunity for residents to shop locally and support area farmers, artisans, makers, and small businesses. Held seasonally throughout the year, the market features fresh produce, handmade goods, specialty products, and family-friendly activities.
Seasonal Celebrations
The City hosts several seasonal events designed to bring families together and celebrate the changing seasons. These events may include spring activities, holiday-themed gatherings, community festivals, and opportunities for residents to shop, dine, and explore local businesses. These include our Easter-themed Hop & Shop and our Howl-O-Ween Boo Bash trunk or treat in Springtown Park.
Wild West Festival
One of Springtown’s signature events, the Wild West Festival, hosted by the Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce each third Saturday in September celebrates the community’s unique history and western heritage. The festival typically features live entertainment, vendors, family activities, local organizations, food, and community participation.
Old-Fashioned Christmas in Springtown
The holiday season in Springtown includes several festive traditions, including the annual Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Old Fashioned Christmas celebration. These events bring the community together to celebrate the spirit of the season with holiday activities, entertainment, shopping, and family fun.
Civic & Community Engagement, Community Service, and Outreach Events
Blood Drives
Throughout the year, the City partners with community organizations and regional blood centers to host blood donation drives, providing residents with opportunities to support lifesaving efforts throughout North Texas.
Community Clean-Up Events and Shred Days
The City periodically hosts clean-up and recycling events that help residents dispose of unwanted items, reduce neighborhood blight, and maintain the appearance and health of the community. Secure document shredding events provide residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of sensitive documents while promoting identity theft prevention and responsible recycling.
Job Fairs
The City works with local employers, educational institutions, and workforce partners to host employment and career development opportunities that connect job seekers with available positions and resources.
Pet Wellness and Educational Programs
In partnership with local and regional organizations, the City periodically hosts low-cost vaccination clinics and other pet wellness events designed to promote responsible pet ownership and animal health.
Business and Community Luncheons
The City hosts periodic luncheons and networking events that bring together local business leaders, community organizations, elected officials, and stakeholders to discuss issues, opportunities, and initiatives affecting the community.
Pastoral and Faith Community Gatherings
Springtown values collaboration with local faith-based organizations and periodically hosts gatherings that encourage communication, partnership, and community engagement.
National Night Out
Each year, residents are invited to participate in National Night Out, a nationwide community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships, neighborhood engagement, and public safety awareness.
Veterans & Memorial Events
Springtown proudly honors the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans through annual ceremonies, parades, and commemorative events, including Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances held throughout the year.
Library and Museum Programming
The Springtown Public Library and Legends Museum offer a variety of educational, cultural, and community-focused programs throughout the year for residents of all ages. From children’s story times, reading programs, and hands-on STEM activities to historical exhibits, workshops, guest speakers, adult craft night, themed events for teens and older children, and special community events, these programs provide opportunities to learn, explore, and connect with others. The Library and Museum work together to preserve Springtown’s heritage while inspiring lifelong learning through engaging experiences that celebrate local history, creativity, literacy, and innovation.

Vendors & Volunteers Welcome
Many of Springtown’s community events rely on the participation of local businesses, organizations, artisans, food vendors, and dedicated volunteers. Whether you’re interested in showcasing your products at a festival or farmers market, promoting your organization at a community event, sponsoring an activity, or donating your time to help make events successful, we encourage you to get involved. Community participation helps create memorable experiences for residents and visitors while strengthening the connections that make Springtown a great place to live, work, and visit.
