Old-Fashioned Christmas 2024
Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree-Lighting Ceremony — Sunday, December 8, 2024 6 p.m.
Join us for our annual lighted Christmas parade and tree-lighting ceremony on the Springtown Square.
As a reminder, the tree lighting will follow the end of the parade, so those who intend to attend the tree lighting so try to find a viewing spot as close to the Square as possible.
As a reminder, the Square will be closed to vehicle traffic. There will be no on-street parking permitted along the parade route.
Parking is available in the gravel lot south of First Street and east of Ash Street (behind the buildings on the westside of the Square), at the Annex building across the street from City Hall, in the lot at the northwest corner of Avenue A and Second Street. On-street parking is permitted on streets not part of the parade route — though attendees should be respectful of residents and not park in private driveways or block private driveways. Under no circumstances is parking on private property without permission of the property owner permitted.
To register for the parade, please email Rachele Ortega at rortega@cityofspringtown.com
