Star-Spangled Bash – July 4, 2026
We’re looking forward to celebrating Independence Day and America’s 250th Birthday with everyone tomorrow at Springtown’s Star-Spangled Bash! Below is a quick overview of the day’s schedule and activities to help you plan your visit.
Order of Events
- 10:00 a.m. – Main Street Parade Begins
- 11:00 a.m. – Star-Spangled Bash Opens at Cartwright Pavilion
- Welcome Address by Mayor Mike Kelley
- National Anthem
- Time Capsule Burial Ceremony
- Approximately 11:15 a.m. – Live Music Begins:
- Comanche Thunder
- Carol Elliott
- South Austin Moonlighters
- Brave Combo
- 3:00 p.m. – Event Concludes
Activities Available from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Throughout the festival, attendees can enjoy:
- 95.9 FM The Ranch live at the volleyball courts
- Animal Shelter pet adoptions and “Kissing Booth”
- Putt-Putt Golf
- Foam Party
- Food Trucks
- Bounce Houses
- Cooling Station
Heat Safety Reminder
With high temperatures expected on Saturday, we encourage everyone to take precautions while enjoying the festivities. Please:
- Dress in light, loose-fitting clothing.
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
- Take breaks in shaded areas as needed.
- Pay special attention to young children, older adults, and anyone who may be more sensitive to the heat.
Seating
Seating at Cartwright Pavilion is limited. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to enjoy the performances comfortably on the grass.
