Automatic Bank Draft
Customers may enroll in automatic bank draft for convenient monthly payments. Accounts enrolled in bank draft are drafted on the 5th day of each month.
To establish automatic bank draft service, please contact City Hall at 817-220-4834.
Important Notice About Third-Party Payment Services
Customers are encouraged to use only the City’s official payment methods when paying utility bills. Several third-party bill payment services advertise themselves as convenient utility payment options and may appear in internet search results alongside the City’s official payment portal. These companies are not affiliated with the City of Springtown.
Many of these services charge additional convenience fees to process payments and, rather than transmitting funds electronically to the City, may withdraw funds from the customer’s bank account and then mail a paper check to City Hall on the customer’s behalf. Because the City does not receive the payment until the check arrives and is processed, the account may remain unpaid for several days after the customer believes payment has been made.
Use of third-party payment services can result in delayed payments, late fees, service interruption notices, or other account issues if payment is not received by the due date. The City cannot waive penalties or assume responsibility for delays caused by third-party payment providers.
To ensure timely processing and proper credit to your account, customers should use the City’s official online payment portal, automated telephone payment system, automatic bank draft program, or make payments directly to City Hall.
