Coming Soon – Optimist Food Truck Park

The City of Springtown is excited to announce the Optimist Food Truck Park which is slated to open in April 2026.

Overall, Optimist Food Truck Park will be a phased project which will transform an area of Optimist Park from its current state to an area where residents can meet family and friends to enjoy a meal from one of multiple food truck vendors on Fridays. The park will operate each Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., providing options for both lunch and dinner.

The current phase will feature grading/surface improvements, signage, lighting, seating, landscaping, decor, and up to eight vendor spaces. We will also be working to install family-friendly entertainment features in what will be known as the Kids Zone.

One Friday each month will feature live entertainment at the Optimist Gazebo where attendees can bring blankets, lawn chairs, or whatever seating they wish to enjoy an evening meal outdoors with live music.  

The first phase of improvements will be funded by an allocation approved by the City of Springtown City Council for the 2025-2026 operating budget as well as vendor fees collected which will all go back into the park itself.

Future phases will include more permanent and expansive improvements such as chip-sealed parking lot, Putt-Putt golf, children’s playground, covered seating areas, permanent restroom facilities, water/sewer connections, a stage/dance floor, additional lighting, entertain features such as putt-putt golf, cornhole, a playground, and additional seating. ​
