NOON 02/19/2021 CRITICAL WATER SERVICE INFORMATION — PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION TO HELP US REACH ALL CITY OF SPRINGTOWN CUSTOMERS

Please pay close attention to the following information as our residents’ cooperation is imperative to restoring water service.

At 1:30 p.m., the booster station will begin sending water into town. It will take sometime to restore pressure AND PREMATURE OVERUSE WILL PROLONG THIS OUTAGE.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT OUR RESIDENTS TAKE THE FOLLOWING MEASURES TO ASSIST US IN RESTORING WATER SERVICE.

– Customers should leave ONLY ONE faucet in the open position until they begin to receive water and then close the faucet.

-Customers should monitor their property for ANY sign of a broken pipe or other leak. In the event that a leak of any kind is suspected, please call the Police Department (817) 220-0828 or City Hall (817) 220-4834 (we are brining in additional personnel to both facilities to answer calls) to request an emergency shut off. This will prevent water loss due to broken pipes and leaks.

– Customers must do everything in their power to restrict water use to only the most critical needs.

The boil water notice remains in effect until further notice.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation to this point. YOUR FURTHER COOPERATION IS IMPERATIVE TO RESTORING WATER SERVICE FULLY.
