From family-friendly crafts and educational programs to community celebrations, food trucks, and our annual Independence Day festivities, we invite you to make the most of the season and join us at these exciting upcoming events — and the best part of all most events are absolutely free to attend/participate.

Farmers Market
Looking for fresh produce, handmade goods, local crafts, and a chance to connect with neighbors? Be sure to visit the Springtown Farmers Market this summer at Newby Park.

Springtown Job Fair
Looking for a new career opportunity, a part-time position, or a fresh start? Mark your calendar for the City of Springtown Job Fair on June 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Springtown ISD Administration Building. Local employers and organizations will be on hand to discuss current openings, career paths, and employment opportunities available throughout the area. Whether you’re entering the workforce, changing careers, or simply exploring your options, this is a great opportunity to connect with employers face-to-face, ask questions, and take the next step toward your future. Be sure to bring copies of your resume and dress to make a great first impression!
Free Educational Events for Children
Need a plan to keep the kids entertained this summer without hearing the phrase “I’m bored” every 15 minutes? We’ve got you covered! From rock painting and sand art to STEM activities, gardening projects, candle making, and hands-on history lessons, Springtown offers a summer full of free educational fun that keeps young minds engaged and imaginations growing. Best of all, these programs give kids the chance to learn new skills, make friends, and create lasting memories—while giving parents a well-deserved break from finding ways to keep everyone busy. Consider it our community’s friendly contribution to winning the annual battle against summertime boredom!

Our annual Summer Reading Challenge is back! Readers of all ages are encouraged to participate, track their reading progress, and earn rewards throughout the summer.

New This Summer: First Responders Camp
We are excited to introduce a new First Responders Camp for local youth interested in careers in public safety and emergency services.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from:

• Parker County ESD No. 1 Fire Department
• Parker County Office of Emergency Services

Bring your lawn chairs, gather your family and friends, and celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary with a day full of community spirit and family fun. The parade will take place along Main Street and the festival will take place near Cartwright Pavilion in Springtown Park
