Recently the City of Springtown became aware of certain Third Party payment services that are not affiliated with the City but offer to process online utility bill payments for customers.
While these services do process payments for customers and forward the funds to the City of Springtown so that they can be credited to the customer’s utility account, these services typically charge higher fees to do so. Additionally, the funds are not always transmitted by the service electronically which can delay receipt of the payment. The delay can result in erroneous late fees being added to the customer’s utility account.
The City of Springtown’s official payment service is Municipal Online Payments which processes not only online payments for utility billing, but for court and permitting fees as well.
Utility payments can be made by visiting cityofspringtown.com/utilitypayments. This payment service is tied directly to our utility billing records system and is the quickest and most efficient manner to make utility bill payments online.
Customers who are concerned that they may have used a third-party service and want to ensure their recent payments have been received and credited to their account should call (817) 220-4834 or email utilities@cityofspringtown.com.
In addition to online payments, customers can make a payment over the phone by calling (833) 250-4485, by placing it in the drop-box located at the northwest corner of the Municipal Annex Building, or in person by appointment.
