The City has received reports related to individuals claiming to be working on behalf of the City needing to inspect the roofs of local residences after last night’s storm. The City of Springtown does not send out inspectors to inspect property related to storm damage. If you encounter an individual claiming to work for the City of Springtown who is asking to enter or inspect property for storm damage, please contact the Springtown Police Department at 817-220-0828 or by dialing 911 immediately.
All door-to-door salesman or solicitors are required to have a city-issued permit that is only issued after an extensive background check and is required to be carried when going door-to-door. In the event you ever encounter someone going door-to-door who cannot produce a permit, please notify the Springtown Police Department as soon as possible.
